Bike Maintenance Workshops
Sooner or later you're going to find yourself on the side of the road with a flat tire. Despite being one of the most common of bicycle repairs, it's surprising how many riders, even experienced ones, don't know how to fix a puncture or change a tube. Our basic maintenance classes show you how to carry out this essential task, as well as proper cleaning, lubrication and basic maintenance of your bike, saving you time and money. Once you've mastered these tasks, try our Intermediate classes for more advanced techniques such as tuning your gears and changing brake pads. All courses cost $15 per person and you don't need to bring anything additional - just yourself. We provide light refreshments on the night.

After many years of sitting in traffic I decided to purchase a MTB as my new daily commuter, thinking all I had to do was pedal the thing, but it soon became apparent that there was a certain amount of regular maintenance and tuning required. I paid my money and attended an intermediate maintenance class at On Yer Bike. I was truly surprised at how little I knew when it came to maintaining my bike, but with expert tuition all the blanks and spaces were filled in. I highly recommend this course to anyone that rides on a regular basis.
Many thanks to the team at On Yer Bike
Regards, Glenn Henderson
